Wofford @ Missouri (MIZ -11, 135.5) 8 PM

Wofford’s coming off a 19 point loss to Butler while Missouri is coming off a 5 point overtime loss at Xavier. Wofford never really competed, trailing by 17 at halftime, while the Tigers went in to Xavier and took them to the wire. The Tigers have covered 8 of their last 9 non-SEC games and 6 of their last 7 at home. Wofford has struggled against the SEC in the past, failing to cover in 6 of their last 7 against the conference. I’ll take the Tigers to get a big win at home.

CASH LINEUP

QB- Jameis Winston $6500
He is my favorite cash quarterback every week. He has thrown for 300+ yards in 6 of his last 7 games, has multiple touchdowns in 5 of his last 7 games, and has scored 20+ fantasy points in 6 of his last 7 games.

RB- Josh Jacobs $6900
He has at least 17 touches in six straight games and should be seeing plenty of carries today against a Bengals team that allows the 5th most fantasy points to opposing running backs.

RB- Brian Hill $4800
This is a guy who saw 20 carries in relief last week and now faces the Panthers who give up the 4th most fantasy points to opposing running backs. At this price, he is a must start in all cash lineups.

WR- Mike Evans $7400
The last time these two teams played, Evans was held catchless. But, with Marshon Lattimore out this week, I will gladly put Evans in my lineup. He has score an average of 29.4 fantasy points per game over his last 4 weeks and is averaging 9 catches per game over that span.

WR- Jamison Crowder $5700
Crowder and Darnold’s connection continues to be strong. He sees an average of 10.2 targets per game with Darnold as the starter. He has scored in each of the past two games and should have another big game today.

WR- Curtis Samuel $5300
Samuel has seen at least 6 targets in 8 straight games and has a touchdown in 3 of his last 4 games. Now he plays the Falcons defense that allows the 7th most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers.

TE- Tyler Eifert $3200
Here’s a value play at tight end to save you some money. He only caught 2 passes for 20 yards last week, but I think Finley will rely on him more today, as many young quarterbacks do with their tight ends. The Raiders allow offenses to throw underneath and allow the 5th most fantasy points to opposing tight ends.

FLEX- Tevin Coleman $6100
As crowded as this backfield is, Coleman is really the only fantasy relevant running back that is healthy today. He should see plenty of work today, at home as big favorites against the Cardinals.

DEF- New England $3500
They have put up double digit fantasy points in every game this season against quarterbacks not named Lamar Jackson including 4 20+ point games and 1 30+ point game. They have recovered 2 or more fumbles in 3 straight games and 4 or more interceptions in 3 games this season.

NFL 11/17

Dallas Cowboys @ Detroit Lions (DAL -7, 46.5) 1 PM

The Lions allow 129.7 yards per game, 6th worst in the NFL. The Cowboys are a run heavy team who rank 7th in rush attempts per game. Jeff Driskel doesn’t do this offense any favors and now they get a Cowboys offense that is scoring 32.7 ppg over their last 3 games. Cowboys will win big. Final Score Prediction: Cowboys 31 Lions 13

Bet: DAL -7
Confidence: 3 Units
Result: Cowboys 35 Lions 27

Buffalo Bills @ Miami Dolphins (BUF -6.5, 40.5) 1 PM

Since the last time these two teams played, the Dolphins 2-1 and only allowing 19 ppg which ranks 9th over that span while the Bills have gone 1-2 and are only scoring 17.7 ppg which ranks 7th worst over that span. I like the Dolphins to keep this game close. Final Score Prediction: Bills 21 Dolphins 17

Bet: MIA +6.5

Result: Bills 37 Dolphins 20

Denver Broncos @ Minnesota Vikings (MIN -10, 40.5) 1 PM

The under has hit 4 of the last 5 games for the Broncos. The average total in those 5 games is 31.2. The Vikings have actually hit the over in 4 of their last 5 games, however, with game totals of 43 or less, the under has hit in 3 of those 4 games for the Vikings, This one stays low scoring with lots of runs and lots of defense. Final Score Prediction: Broncos 9 Vikings 24

Bet: Under 40.5
Confidence: 2 Units
Result: Broncos 23 Vikings 27

New Orleans Saints @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (NO -5, 50.5) 1 PM

The Saints scored 9 points at home last weekend. I don’t think that happens again. The Saints have score 30 or more points in 5 games this season while the Bucs have allowed a 30+ scorer in 6 games this season. The total has hit 50 in 7 straight Bucs games and I think it soars past that again today. Final Score Prediction: Saints 34 Bucs 31

Bet: Over 50.5
Confidence: 2 Units
Result: Saints 34 Bucs 17

New England Patriots @ Philadelphia Eagles (NE -4.5, 44.5) 4:25 PM

Belichick has had two weeks to prepare for the Eagles coming off a loss. Oof. I’d be scared. The Pats are 7-1 ATS coming off a bye since 2015. This should be an easy cover. Final Score Prediction: Patriots 35 Eagles 17

Bet: NE -4.5
Confidence: 3 Units
Result: Patriots 17 Eagles 10

Chicago Bears @ Los Angeles Rams (LAR -6, 40) 8:20 PM

The under has hit in each of the least 3 Bear’s games, mostly due to the fact their quarterback doesn’t know how to throw a football. Their offense only score 18.0 ppg while the defense only allows 17.4 ppg. I’m not feeling this Rams offense lately and now they get a tough defense. Good luck to all 1st and 2nd pick quarterbacks in this game. Final Score Prediction: Bears 16 Rams 19

Alabama @ Mississippi State (ALA -18, 59.5) 12 PM

Saban will have his guys ready coming off the loss last week to LSU. Mississippi State is no LSU. The Bulldogs had lost 4 in a row before beating Arkansas last week, including a 33 point loss to Auburn, a 23 points loss to LSU and a 19 point loss to Texas A&M. Alabama has beaten every opponent they have faced, except LSU, by at least 19 points, and an average margin of victory of 33.4 ppg. Final Score Prediction: Alabama 56 Mississippi State 23

Bet: ALA -18
Confidence: 3 Units
Result: Alabama 38 Mississippi State 7

UMass @ Northwestern (NW -41, 58) 12 PM

UMass lost to Rutgers by 27. That’s where we are with this. They have allowed at least 56 points in four straight games, at least 45 in 9 of their 10 games, and at least 62 in 4 of their last 7 games. That all amounts to 53.1 ppg and now they play their toughest opponent this season. Lay the absurd amount of points and take the Wildcats. Final Score Prediction: UMass 7 Northwestern 56

Bet: NW -41
Confidence: 2 Units
Result: UMass 6 Northwestern 45

Virginia Tech @ Georgia Tech (VT -6.5, 51) 3:30 PM

These are two teams going in different directions. The Yellow Jackets have lost 6 of their last 7 games, losing by an average margin of 12.3 ppg during that span. The Hokies have won 4 of their last 5 games, with one narrow loss in South Bend. They have won those games by an average margin of 11.3 ppg while scoring 35 ppg over that span. I’ll take the better and hotter team to cover the one possession spread. Final Score Prediction: Virginia Tech 31 Georgia Tech 17

Bet: VT -6.5

Result: Virginia Tech 45 Georgia Tech 0

Louisville @ NC State (LOU -3.5, 53) 7:30 PM

Out of 130 teams, here are the defensive ranks for these two teams:
Points Allowed per game: Louisville’s 38.4 (123rd) NC State 32.2 (92nd)
Yards Allowed per game: Louisville 471.9 (114th) NC State 417.5 (76th)
Passing Yards Allowed per game: Louisville 285.6 (117th) NC State 268.8 (104th)
Rushing Yards Allowed per game: Louisville 182.6 (86th) NC State 148.8 (45th)
NC State’s offense has struggled, scoring only 21 ppg which ranks 109th, while Louisville’s offense has scored 30.9 ppg which ranks 46th. I think both these teams outscore their yearly averages and give us the over. Final Score Prediction: Louisville 45 NC State 31

Bet: Over 53
Confidence: 4 Units
Result: Louisville 34 NC State 20

Arizona State @ Oregon State (ASU -1, 56.5) 7:30 PM

The Sun Devils have lost 3 of their last 4 after winning their 5 of their first 6 games. In those three losses, it was the first half that hurt them. They trailed 14-0 at Utah (21-3 final), 28-7 at UCLE (42-32 final) and 28-13 vs USC (31-26 final). If they can keep the Beavers from starting off fast, a team that scores an average 15 points in the first half this season which ranks 62nd, then I think the Sun Devils should be able to win this game. The Beavers are 1-4 at home this season. Final Score Prediction: Arizona State 34 Oregon State 27

NBA 11/15

San Antonio Spurs @ Orlando Magic (ORL -3, 211) 7:10 PM

The Spurs defense has been atrocious as of late, allowing 119.4 ppg over their last 5 games. Despite their defensive struggle, the offense has continued to play well, scoring 111.7 ppg. They have lost 5 of 6 and now travel to Orlando to take on the Magic. The Magic were held under 100 points in their first 7 games, but have since score 100+ in four straight games in which they are averaging 109.8 ppg. With the way the Spurs defense is struggling and the Magic starting to score more, I’ll take the over.

Bet: Over 211

Result: Spurs 109 Magic 111

Indiana Pacers @ Houston Rockets (HOU -5, 226) 8:10 PM

I’m 0-4 on Pacers bets so whatever I bet here, just do the opposite. However, all four of those were on the total, so I will make a play on the spread tonight. The Pacers are on a 4 game winning streak and have won 7 of their last 8 overall. Their last two losses are both 2 point losses. They’re red hot so they can go into Houston and upset the Rockets, right? No way! The Pacers record against a team with a winning record this season is 0-0. The Patriots found out what it’s like to play a tough team on the road after playing a soft schedule, and Sabonis ain’t no Brady! Harden has averaged 41.6 ppg over his last 5 games. Take an improved defensive unit, and a red hot Harden to blow out the ‘Cers tonight.

Bet: HOU -5
Confidence: 4 Units
Result: Pacers 102 Rockets 111

Washington Wizards @ Minnesota Timberwolves (MIN -7, 240) 8:10 PM
Boston Celtics @ Golden State Warriors (BOS -7.5, 225) 10:40 PM

Consider adding the Rockets to this parlay, but for the sake of this parlay we’ll stick with two. The Wizards have lost 6 of their last 7 games in which they have given up 126.7 ppg including a 131-109 loss at home to the Timberwolves. The Timberwolves have won 3 of their last 4 and have averaged 118 ppg over that span. The best record in the NBA against the worst record in the NBA, the Celtics might embarrass the Warriors. The Celtics are averaging 123.6 ppg over their last 5 games and have won 9 in a row. The Warriors have lost 5 in a row and have allowed 122 ppg over that span.

LA Tech @ Marshall (MARSH -6.5, 54.5) 7 PM

This opened as a 2.5 point line and has shot up 4 points since. The public loves Marshall in this spot, but I don’t think they should. The LA Tech Bulldogs opened their season by losing to the 10th ranked Texas Longhorns, but have since gone 8-0, averaging 41.1 ppg including scoring over 42 points in four straight games, allowing 20.1 ppg, and winning by an average margin of 21 ppg. The Bulldogs rank 18th in the nation in total yards (479.1), 23rd in passing yards (292.1) and 13th in points scored (38.1). They are also proving Vegas they aren’t getting enough respect, covering the spread in four straight games, covering 6 of their last 8 games against a team with a winning record and covering 10 of their last 14 road games. Marshall at home is not as strong as you would think as they have only covered 2 of their last 14 home games and have covered only 2 of their last 7 games overall. I might take a shot at the moneyline in this one, but to be safe, take a bunch of free points. Final Score Prediction: LA Tech 31 Marshall 26

Bet: LATECH +6.5

Result: LA Tech 10 Marshall 31

Fresno State @ San Diego State (SDSU -1, 43) 9:30 PM

The Bulldogs rank 22nd with 34.4 ppg this season. This is a team that lost by one possession to USC on the road and took 8th ranked Minnesota to 2OT early in the season. However, they are 3-4 since those two games, including losing 2 of their last 3 games. The Aztecs defense is among the best in the entire country, allowing 16.2 ppg which ranks 8th in the country. They lost last week to Nevada because they only put up 13 points, but facing Fresno State’s defense that allows 32.4 pp, I think they score enough to let their defense get the win for them. Final Score Prediction: Fresno State 20 San Diego State 23

Los Angeles Clippers @ New Orleans Pelicans (LAC -4.5, 235) 8:10 PM

I don’t understand why these totals keep staying so high on Clipper games, but we’ll cash in until someone figures it out. The under has hit in 7 of the last 8 games for the Clippers and now they get a 235 total, the highest of the season. The over cashed in on the Pelicans first 6 games, but the under has cashed in 4 of their last 5. The Pelicans averaged 121.2 ppg in their first 5 games, but have since averaged 112.8 ppg in their last 5 games. Meanwhile, the Clipper’s defense has held 5 of their last 6 opponents to 101 points or less.

Bet: Under 235

Dallas Mavericks @ New York Knicks (DAL -7.5, 215.5) 8:10 PM

The Knicks have 2 wins on the season, including one in Dallas last Friday night. But don’t let that scare you from siding with the Mavericks in this one. Of their 9 losses, the Knicks have lost by an average margin of defeat of 14.4 ppg including losing by double digits six times, and more than 18 five times including in their last four losses. Mavericks are a team that can score and blow this Knicks team out.

Bet: DAL -7.5

Result: Mavericks 103 Knicks 106

Dallas Mavericks @ New York Knicks (DAL -7.5, 215.5) 8:10 PM
Los Angeles Clippers @ New Orleans Pelicans (LAC -4.5, 235) 8:10 PM
Atlanta Hawks @ Phoenix Suns (PHX -7.5, 229) 9:10 PM

See the above bets as to why I like the Mavericks and the Clippers. Additionally, the Knicks and Pelicans are a combined 4-17 this season. The Hawks had lost 6 of their last 7 before beating the Nuggets on Tuesday night. They were able to put up a season high 125 points in Denver, but during that previous 7 game stretch, they only scored 102.9 ppg. While both teams rank similarly on defense (Hawks: 14th Suns: 17th), The Suns offense is far better than the Hawks. The Hawks score 106.5 ppg which ranks 23rd while the Suns score 116.6 ppg which ranks 6th, including 118.3 ppg over ther last 6 games in which they have gone 4-2.

Brooklyn Nets @ Denver Nuggets (DEN +9, 222.5) 10:40 PM

Although the Nets are 4-6, their point differential is only -2.2 while the Nuggets , who are 7-3, have a point differential of +2.3. In other words, these teams like to keep it close. 4 of the Nets 6 losses have been by 5 points or less, while 6 of the Nugget’s 7 wins this season have been by 8 points or less. The Nuggets like to grind things out while the Nets like to score as much as possible. Either way this game is paced, the score should be close.

Buffalo @ Kent State (BUF -5.5, 56) 7 PM

Kent State has three wins on the season, vs DII school Kennesaw State by 3 in OT, vs Bowling Green by 42 and at Akron by 23. In other words, they have three wins against Division II-like schools. Their first 3 losses came against power 5 schools; at Arizona State by 23, at Auburn by 39 and at Wisconsin by 48. If we throw out all of this nonsense and just look at their last 3 games against real conference opponents, the Golden Flashes have given up 32 ppg. Buffalo is scoring 35.6 ppg on their current 3 game winning streak, beating those opponents by an average of 24.3 margin of victory. The Golden Flashes have allowed 30 sacks this season which ranks 2nd to last in the MAC while the Bulls have 29 sacks which ranks 2nd in the MAC and 14th in the country. I expect the Bulls to keep rolling. Final Score Prediction: Buffalo 37 Kent State 20

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Cleveland Browns (CLE -2.5, 41.5) 8:20 PM

The Browns have played three of the toughest defenses in the league in their previous three games against the Patriots, Broncos and the Bills. Now they face the Steelers who lead the league in takeaways with 26. Mayfield is second in the league in interceptions with 12, so he must be in for a tough night against the Steelers. Not so fast. In those 3 difficult matchups, Mayfield has completed 66% of his passes, thrown 4 TDs and 1 INT. This is a Browns team that went in to Baltimore and beat Lamar Jackson and the Ravens handedly and Mason Rudolph just doesn’t scare me. This will only be his second road start and on a short week, I think he struggles. Final Score Prediction: Steelers 16 Browns 23

Bonus Prop Bet:

Kind of pricey odds, but if you are looking for a prop tonight, look at Odell Beckham receptions. Right now, it is set at 4.5 with -190 odds. As poor as his season has been, he has been consistent with at least 5 catches in 7 of 9 games this season including in each of his last 4 games.

The Clippers have allowed 101.8 ppg over their last 5 games. The Rockets have allowed 105.5 ppg over their last 4 games. While the offenses for the Clippers (13th) and the Rockets (1st) are two of the better units in the league, their defenses have helped under bettors cash in as 6 of the last 7 Clipper games have hit the under while 5 of the last 6 Rocket games have hit the under.

Los Angeles Clippers @ Houston Rockets (HOU -2, 233.5) 7:40 PM
Washington Wizards @ Boston Celtics (BOS -8.5, 229.5) 7:40 PM

The Clippers go back on the road after a 4-1 homestand. The Clippers have lost their last 2 road games before that. Two of their three losses this season came against the 5th ranked offense (Phoenix) and the 2nd ranked offense (Milwaukee) and now they get the number one ranked offense in the league on the road. Meanwhile the Rockets, who have won 4 in a row, are 3-1 at home this season. The Wizards have lost 6 of 7 while the Celtics have won 8 in a row. These are two different teams going in different directions. Celtics should roll.
